- P240F EGR slow response – active code P2201 NoX circuit performance – passive P0401 EGR insufficient flow – passive Tested EGR pintle value = follows commands properly. Tested NoX reading = high. Tested Diesel particulate filter ash load = .11l (max .46l). Exhaust is making abnormal noises under load. Found a flange gasket blown and leaking exhaust onto DEF injection nozzle. Service bulletin for the EGR codes calls for replacement of EGR filter and diesel particulate filter together. The EGR filter and exhaust regeneration procedure will often solve the code.
