- The codes in the ABS module (U0401) are for invalid data from the PCM. Monitored the ABS data = normal on test drive. There is a code P2101 in PCM pertaining to the throttle motor. The ABS system did not have any unwanted ABS engagement during test drive.
- Radiator was 2 quarts low. The radiator cap is also swollen / defective – not allowing coolant to return to engine. After coolant was filled, the engine did not overheat. The heater produced normal heat. The cooling fans engaged and blew heat from the radiator. This means the thermostat is working.Did perform a combustion gas test, test showed there is some combustion gasses in the coolant indicating there is a head gasket issue.
