Found front brake pad to be metal on metal and making a grinding noise. Recommend replacement of front brake pads and rotors. $570.00 plus tax If calipers are needed there would be an extra charge.

Could not jump start vehicle. Pushed vehicle into shop and charged battery. Vehicle still would not start, attempted to jump start again and failed. Scanned computer and found several communication codes. Bypassed starter relay and engine started. Removed battery tray and tightened harness grounds, isolated and tested each battery and found main battery to be testing fine and the auxiliary battery failed test. Replace auxiliary battery.
Removed and replaced auxiliary battery, cleared all codes and tested.
Mount and balance four tire/wheel assemblies.

Performed testing and inspection of the heater system. Ran the engine and found the inlet temps on both heater core hoses the same. Bled the air out of the system and was able to raise the heater vents temp to 170 degrees while driving and at idle temps would drop to 140 degrees.Noticed large amounts of air bubbles in the system . Noticed that the radiator hoses would get very hard indicating excessive pressure . Performed sever combustion gas tests and the fluid did not change color. The interesting part is there is way to many bubbles and to much pressure. The problem is a bad cylinder head gasket or cylinder head problem

The codes in the ABS module (U0401) are for invalid data from the PCM. Monitored the ABS data = normal on test drive. There is a code P2101 in PCM pertaining to the throttle motor. The ABS system did not have any unwanted ABS engagement during test drive.
Radiator was 2 quarts low. The radiator cap is also swollen / defective – not allowing coolant to return to engine. After coolant was filled, the engine did not overheat. The heater produced normal heat. The cooling fans engaged and blew heat from the radiator. This means the thermostat is working.Did perform a combustion gas test, test showed there is some combustion gasses in the coolant indicating there is a head gasket issue.
